Europe's biggest innovation conference is called ispim - it is held in June every year and is where leading innovation academics go to present their research. This conference brings together 500 academics and senior executives from the public and private sector. This week it took place in Vienna. Dr Peter Robbins, head of Design Innovation at Maynooth University is pictured here delivering a paper that links two important strands in the innovation world: radical innovation and goal orientation. This seems like a most promising strand of potential new research.
