Charges/Costs for Campus Rooms
Once your room is booked you will get a confirmation email to the address you used on the booking form. We will send you an email later in the season to let you know how to check-in to your room when you arrive at Maynooth.
Check in will take place on the 28th January 2019. Please be advised that we cannot facilitate any early arrivals.
Erasmus and Non EU Full Degree Postgraduates
We had expected to have rooms to offer incoming Erasmus students for semester 2 in on campus accommodaion, however demand has been higher this year and cancellations have been lower, therfore there is no available supply of on campus accommodation for semester 2 are fully booked.
There is a University lead service available through the Homefinder service who provide onlone service for the private rental market for Maynooth and the surrounding areas.
Please engage with the Homefinder Service for off campus accommodation.
Non EU Full Degree Postgraduates
All rooms on campus in this student category for Academic Year 2018-2019 are now fully booked. Please engage with the Homefinder Service for off campus accommodation.
The next booking on Campus open to International Post Graduates will be on 13th August 2019. However room numbers in this offering are small and will be under high demand so it may be best to work with Home Finder Service rather than wait for this offering so late in the season. Online bookings on a FCFS basis will start on this website at 10am (local Irish time) on the 13 August 2019 - see Residence Office opening web page for details on the day Accommodation Web Site
You will need to research your room type and related budget in advance to have a good chance of getting a booking.
When making a booking your Maynooth University student number is very important and must be accurate.
The booking fee is due at the booking stage and is required to complete the booking. The payment system attached to the booking form accepts bank cards such as Master Card or Visa Card. The amount paid at time of booking will cover your costs for utilities for the semester or full year as appropriate.
If you book a room for the full year but you are not staying for semester 2 you will lose the booking fee paid - so please book only for the period you are staying.
If you book a room on campus the accommodation fees and bedding pack will be due for payment by the 28th August 2019. Please note that the fee for the semester is payable in full and we do not offer monthly/weekly or other payment intervals. Any rooms not confirmed by payment in full for your first semester by 28th August 2019, will be cancelled with the loss of the booking fee if not previously cancelled. Rooms cancelled in this way will be sold on immediately to other students as there is very high demand at that time of year for rooms.
Rooms cancelled due to visa, travel, or academic place difficulties will attract a full refund of the booking and accommodation fees paid.
