Maynooth University collaborates with ADAPT SFI Research Centre for AI Driven Digital Content Technology

The Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for AI Driven Digital Content Technology, ADAPT, has been awarded a funding award of €42million to extend its next phase of research over the next six years. Through this new phase finding phase, ADAPT will build on its established leadership in AI driven Digital Content Technology Research.

Article published in todays Irish Examiner 'Children have 'borne the brunt' of Covid pandemic, research finds' quotes ALL Institute member Katriona O'Sullivan on her recent co-authored study 'A Qualitative Study of Child and Adolescent Mental Health during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Ireland' A fascinating study highlighting the impact of severe restrictions on vulnerable populations’ wellbeing and mental health outcomes, including children, adolescents, and those with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The full study has been published in Special Issue of the International Journal of Enviornmental and Public Health - The Psychological Impact of Covid-19 on Vulnerable, Marginalized or At-Risk Groups.

Restorative Justice: Strategies for Change Ireland launches new website

We are delighted to announce the launch of the new website of Restorative Justice: Strategies for Change (RJS4C) Ireland. RJS4C is a cross-European project involving around 40 partners from ten jurisdictions, the goal of which is to refocus European criminal justice systems, agencies, policies and practices around restorative principles and processes. In Ireland, the project involves a Core Group of four persons from the State sector and civil society, and a Stakeholder Group encompassing over 450 persons from across State and non-state bodies, among others, with personal and professional interests in developing restorative justice in Ireland.
