Irish Language Classes in Paris
Course content consists of two hours per week of Irish language classes with one weekend seminar of 7 hours. Classes will be available at beginner, elementary and intermediate levels, subject to demand. 145 hours of personal study is recommended in addition to the 55 hours of class time. The Irish language courses follow the TEG (Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge) syllabuses and students take the TEG exams at the end of the academic year which include speaking, aural and written exams.
Assessment
Language will be assessed by Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge exam which will include written, oral and aural tests at the end of the academic year. See www.teg.ie for details of syllabus, sample papers and practical information. All other modules are subject to project work or continuous assessment.
Course Fees: €200 payable to the Centre Culturel Irlandais.
