Challenge-based research funding helps teams work on SDGs
Maynooth University in Ireland, in partnership with Makerere University in Uganda, has been awarded €1 million (US$1.05 million) under a Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) research challenge funded by Irish government agencies.

Dr Valentina Paolucci (Maynooth Business School) conducted a comparative study funded by the EU Commission and examining the postures of trade unions and employers towards company level bargaining. She was the principal investigator in Ireland.
