Peer observation of teaching can be a powerful tool for professional development of lecturers in academia and for improving teaching practice. However, it is not always easy to implement. Can peer observation of teaching work in cross-institutional and cross-disciplinary environments? This question was explored in the recent paper co-authored by Dr. Tatiana Andreeva together with Dr. Muireann O’Keeffe (Technological University Dublin), Dr. Martina Crehan, Dr. Eric Clarke, Dr. Michelle Flood (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland), Dr. Morag Munro, Dr. Chris Van Egeraat, Prof. Frances Heaney (Maynooth University), and Dr. Anna Logan, Dr. Ann Marie Farrell, Dr. Monica Ward, Dr. Declan Curran and Dr. Eric Clinton (Dublin City University).
