David has published a chapter on the Canadian decision of Jones v Tsige in Landmark Cases in Privacy Law. David contends that Jones is an example of the common law’s hesitant approach to a general cause of action in privacy.

Maynooth Law Society attend the Intervarsity Law Summit 2023
Maynooth Law Society was delighted to select the Moot team to represent Maynooth School of Law and Criminology at the Intervarsity Law Summit 2023. Our team, consisting of Adam O' Carroll and David Rattigan, represented the Appellant and were successful in persuading the judges to allow their appeal.
