Having recently passed the Circular Economy Bill 2021, the Irish Government are taking steps in transitioning from our current linear economic model of “take, make, waste” to one that is restorative and regenerative by design. Do organizational leaders’ tweets influence their employees’ anxiety?
Based on emotional contagion and using developed algorithms to detect anxiety and personality traits in tweets, the authors found that leaders influence their followers’ state anxiety over a period of 316 days, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.

School of Business faculty is supporting research on best practices in management education
A group of researchers from the School of Business presented their working paper which focused on novel methods of engaging students in large classes, in particular, during remote teaching at the Management Education and Development Writers’ Workshop at the recent Academy of Management conference.

Are firm-level knowledge resources equally valuable in different countries?
They found that human and structural capital are more valuable for firm innovativeness in less favourable environments, while relational capital boosts firm innovation in any environment.
