Dr Valentina Paolucci (Maynooth University School of Business), Professor Bill Roche and Dr Tom Gormley (UCD College of Business) conducted a study of decentralised collective bargaining in Ireland. The study presents the most detailed assessment to date of features and outcomes of the return to decentralised bargaining in 2009, after the collapse of national social partnership. The research examined the postures of trade unions towards company level bargaining across different sectors of economic activity: pharmaceuticals, retailing, financial services, and food and drink industry.
