Dr. Donal Coffey gave an invited talk at the Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies as part of the International Symposium on Law in Early Modern European Colonies.
Dr. Coffey spoke on the topic of Legacies and Continuities of Early Modern Colonial Law looking at comparisons between different empires, which will be part of a forthcoming Oxford University Handbook.

New publication on racism in NGDO development communications.
Dr Eilish Dillon and Dr Edward Ademoulu, King's College London have published a new article on racism in NGDO development communications in the UK and Ireland. The article entitled, "The proverbial elephant in the room: “raceless” antiracism, development communications and African diaspora invisibility" draws on research in these contexts. The article is open access.
