Maynooth University welcomes academic colleagues from the College of Social Work, University of Kentucky

On 11 July 2023, three academic colleagues from the College of Social Work, University of Kentucky visited Maynooth University.  The Dean, Dr Justin (Jay) Miller, Dr Amanda Brown and Dr Kalea Benner.  This visit developed from a working relationship, focussed on trauma, neuroscience and restorative practices, between Dr Brown and Dr Treasa Kenny dating back to 2018.  

During the week, meetings took place with Dr Treasa Kenny and Dr Cian O'Concubhair in the School of Law and Criminology as well as Dr Catriona O'Toole in the School of Education.  There was also a meeting held with the President, Chief Executive and some Directors of the Mediators' Institute of Ireland (MII).
