Maynooth University is offering fixed term, 5 year full-time PhD studentships (2 year Master’s studentship) with teaching commitment across selected Departments. Interested candidates should contact the Department where they wish to study to identify an academic supervisor in the first instance and speak to the Department about making their application for these positions:

Maynooth Computer Science Summer Camp 2017
The Department of Computer Science at Maynooth University runs the Computer Summer Camp for students aged 13-18 years old in June/July every year. This year the camp will run for three weeks from 26th June - 14th July, from 9.30am - 1pm each day Monday to Friday and costs €75 per week.

“Sweet Metals” to Fight Neglected Tropical Diseases
Researchers from Maynooth University have made a significant breakthrough in the fight against neglected tropical diseases. The study has identified drug candidates capable of combatting two parasitic diseases (Leishmaniasis and Chagas Disease) that affect millions of people in tropical developing countries.

Undergraduate Essay Awards - Deadline for submissions extended to Friday May 19th
The Centre for European and Eurasian Studies is proud to announce its second annual undergraduate essay award. The award is open to all undergraduate students across a wide range of departments at the university. The Centre is now accepting submissions (2,000 -6,000 words) from students whose coursework focuses on topics relating to Europe.
