    Roll up, roll up for the Circus of Climate Horrors at Glastonbury 2025

    The Irish Climate Analysis and Research UnitS (ICARUS) and the Geography Department's outreach project, The Circus of Climate Horrors, took its terrifyingly educational act on the road to Green Futures at Glastonbury 2025 where the brightest and greenest ideas come out to play!

    CPEP Symposium and Leadership Transition

    The Centre for Public Education and Pedagogy held a symposium featuring Carl Anders Säfström, Gert Biesta, Maija Salokangas, Nika Maglaperidze, and Joe Oyler, chaired by Sharon Todd. The event marked the transition from Säfström's directorship to new co-directors Salokangas and Oyler, with presentations reflecting on the centre's seven-year trajectory and future direction.

    MU Psychology represented at Psychology, Health and Medicine conference 2025

    The 21st Annual Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference was celebrated last Tuesday 27 May 2025 in Queen's University Belfast at Riddel Hall. This year the conference was hosted by the Northern Irish Branch of the Division of Health Psychology of the British Psychological Society (DHP NI), in association with the Division of Health Psychology of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI DHP). The theme of this year’s conference was Health Psychology: Bridging the Gap to Wellbeing. The Department of Psychology from Maynooth University was represented at the conference this year by four PhD candidates: Joan Alaboson, Jennifer Deane-King, Shannon Richardson and Yanet Morejon Hernandez.
