BSc Student Awarded 2018 Naughton Scholarship

The Naughton Scholarship programme was established in 2008 to promote the study of engineering, science and technology. Each year a number of exceptional students are awarded scholarships to study at undergraduate level at any publicly funded university or third-level institution in Ireland. Andrew Gallagher, formerly of of St Mel's College in Longford, was awarded a scholarship in 2018 and commenced his studies in the BSc Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Chemistry degree at Maynooth University.

The scholarship is aimed at encouraging exceptional students who intend to study in the STEM field and who will become future leaders in their field.
