What we do
Student Services has a large varied team of dedicated and caring professionals across a wide range of disciplines. We support you as you journey through University, from the first day you arrive at orientation until the day you graduate, we are with you along the way. All our services look at the full range of needs you will have as you make your way through University life.
- Perhaps you need advice around budgeting or some financial assistance due to an emergency. Meet with our Budgeting Advisor who can guide you through potential available funding or run through some tips and ideas around budgeting.
- You've fallen sick during your time here at University and/or are concerned about your physical or mental health. We have qualified and professional Doctors and Nurses waiting to meet you and offer the appropriate care and advice.
- Maybe you have a query related to your studies or where to go to register for tutorial. Maybe you have a query around what to do if you miss an exam or need help navigating the campus. Whatever your question, you are just unsure of who to talk to. Don't worry, our Student Helpdesk is specifically designed to help you with those kinds of queries. Our friendly, knowledgeable and helpful team would be delighted to welcome you and assist you with all your question, no matter how big or small they may be.
- You want information on looking after your mental health and would love to find out more about stress management or mindfullness. Our Counselling team have you sorted with a number of counselling workshops run throughout the year aimed at empowering you to look after your mental health. The team are also here for indivudual appointments and run regular drop in times throughout the academic year.
- Accommodation has proved tricky to source or you need some help and advice on best practise when it comes to renting. Check out our off-campus accommodation service MaynoothStudentpad and attend an online information session where you can get hints and tips around using the service and looking for off-campus accommodation.
