The Sociology Department and NIRSA hosted a coffee and cupcakes event on Wednesday, March 12th to mark Dr. Eoin Flaherty's departure from Maynooth University. Eoin started as an undergraduate student at Maynooth University ten years ago and has since occupied a variety of roles including postgraduate, post doctoral researcher, tutor, research assistant and assistant lecturer. He will be missed by colleagues in Sociology, Geography, NIRSA and in the New Deals Project. We wish Eoin well in his new appointment as Lecturer in Sociology at the Queen's University, Belfast.
