Professor Anja Weiss of Universitat Duisburg-Essen visited the Department of Sociology 22-24, Feb, 2015 to promote linkages between the two institutions. She spoke to a number of undergraduate classes and to research groups working in the area of Migration and Work.
In particular, Professor Weiss briefed students on Sociology Summer Schools running in Duibsburg-Essen in June of each year which are open to undergraduates. Undergraduate students can earn up to 10 credits at the Summer School and these can count toward the final degree. Duisberg-Essen information
