Centre for European and Eurasian Studies hosts a panel discussion on Brexit and its implications for Ireland

This is a particularly important juncture after Theresa May finally triggered Article 50 and notified the EU of Britain’s intention to leave the Union. In this context, the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies will host a panel  to consider the impact of Brexit on:

  • Northern Ireland and the Good Friday Agreement
  • The Irish and Northern Irish economies
  • Agrifood and cross-border trade patterns
  • Free movement of people and goods
  • The future of the Common Travel Area
  • UK-Ireland relations after Brexit

 
The panel will include:

  • Peadar Toibin TD

The event will be chaired by Dr. Colin Coulter (Maynooth University)
