Dr Graham Heaslip was speaking on Drivetime with Mary Wilson on November 12th discussing the logistical implications in response to Typhoon Haiyan that hit the Philippines. Dr Heaslip outlined the coordination challenges in delivering aid to those in need and outlined the tasks facing the emergency response teams that have been deployed to the Philippines. Dr Heaslip outlined how the international community including the military forces of the Philippines, US and UK could assist in alleviating the dreadful situation.
