Visiting researcher Matteo Mandelli awarded PhD at the University of Milan

Professor Mary Murphy and Dr Matteo Mandelli after he was awarded his PhD at the University of Milan on 14 September 2023. Matteo spent a semester at the Department of Sociology, Maynooth University in Spring  2022.

Matteo examined Just Transition strategies in Spain and Ireland. During his time in Maynooth University, he completed interviews for the Irish case study, presented his work, met key actors, and visited Cloughjordan Ecovillage.
