Professor Michael Doherty appeared on RTÉ Radio 1’s Morning Ireland show on February 23rd 2017 to discuss ongoing industrial unrest in the retail and transport sectors.
 
Professor Doherty researches in the area of employment law and policy and has written and commented extensively on industrial relations. His piece, ‘When the Working Day is Through: The End of Work As Identity?’, published in Work, Employment and Society, focuses on retail and transport workers.
 
Professor Michael Doherty is Head of Maynooth University Department of Law where he lectures in modules on Employment Law on the LLB programme.
