Professor Delia Ferri has recently been invited to give several talks and seminars at the University of Murcia (Spain), the University of Padova (Italy) and at NOVA University Lisbon (Portugal).
On 25 April, Professor Ferri was invited to give a talk on ‘Protecting the Right to Culture of Persons with Disabilities and Enhancing Cultural Diversity through EU Law’ presenting research and interim findings of the European Research Council (ERC) funded project DANCING, which she leads as Principal Investigator, at the University of Murcia. Afterwards, she was invited to hold a lecture on the European Disability Card as a step forward in protecting the rights of persons with disabilities in the EU.
During the summer school ‘BIP Social Rights in Europe ConteXted Social Rights’ organised by the University of Padova, Professor Ferri chaired a seminar on ‘Disability and Arts’ before giving a seminar on ‘The Development of EU Disability Law’ in the afternoon of 6 May. In the context of the summer school, she was further invited to act as a discussant during a doctoral conference on 10 May which included PhD students from Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Italy.
Most recently Professor Ferri was invited to give a lecture and present research of the ERC DANCING project at the NOVA School of Law on 16 May.
