On Wednesday 24th February Donal Coffey gave a talk at the University of Portsmouth law staff Research Seminar on the topic of the drafting of the Burmese independence constitution in 1947. This talk looked at the various influences on the constitution and the ways in which different foreign constitutions were influential.
Dr Donal Coffey is an Assistant Professor at Maynooth University Department of Law and teaches Legal History of Empires.
