Cruinniú na Cásca - Discussions on working conditions, Easter Monday

Thursday, April 13, 2017 - 12:45

Insights into Industry: Construction
11.00am, Easter Monday 17 April

This series of discussions is organised in conjunction with TASC and SIPTU, which organises workers in these sectors.

In 2016 TASC published a report on working conditions in Ireland Enforced Flexibility? Working in Ireland Today.  This research project seeks to understand the extent to which these trends are happening in Ireland. At the same time, it will look at what is happening ‘inside’ jobs: the extent to which jobs have become more insecure and workers more subject to arbitrary management decisions offers insights in industry in terms of work practices, conditions, issues, conflicts and future directions.
