MAs in the Sociology Department

Thinking of doing an MA?

The Sociology Department will be involved in three taught MA progammes in 2016/17.

Taught MAs are of one year duration and include a research thesis which is submitted during the summer. Classes are small (usually <15 students) and are discussion based.

1) MA Sociology: Societies in Transition [MHY54] - Contact: Dr. Honor Fagan.
2) MA Sociology: Internet and Society [MHY56] -  Contact Dr. Aphra Kerr
3) MA in Community Education, Equality and Social Activism  [MHA64] - joint with the Dept of Adult & Community Education - Contact: Dr. Laurence Cox.

Closing dates vary but applications will be reviewed monthly and provisional offers can be made pending final results/based on application. Applications must be through PAC.
