Authors Laurence Cox (Sociology, Maynooth) and Alf Gunvald Nilsen launched their new book We Make Our Own History: Marxism and Social Movements in the Twilight of Neoliberalism at the Historical Materialism conference in London earlier this month, with veteran socialist Colin Barker, SOAS development studies researcher Subir Sinha and social movements scholar Lesley Wood.
