Thursday, November 30, 2017 - 10:45

Third year Politics student in the Department of Sociology, Stuart O’ Malley, has been selected by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit Japan as part of its student exchange programme, MIRAI (meaning ‘future’ in Japanese).

Stuart will be visiting Japan from December 6-13th, 2017, visiting Hiroshima, Kyoto and Tokyo, where he will attend lectures, and visit education and research institutions, industrial and craft centres, and cultural heritage sites.

While there he will be interacting and exchanging ideas with Japanese and other European people at these various locations through workshops and other events.

We will be looking forward to hearing all about Stuart’s activities and impressions when he returns.

“Oki o tsukete” (have a safe trip and see you soon) Stuart!
