This week saw the graduation of more MA and PhD students from the Department of Sociology.
Dr. David Begg graduated with his PhD. awarded for a thesis on 'Ireland: A country lost in Transition'. The project was supervised by Prof. Sean O'Riain. The image above shows Dr. Begg with the University President Prof. Philip Nolan and Prof. Mary Corcoran.
Dr. Kerry Gallagher also graduated with her PhD. awarded for a thesis on Mediating Catholicism? Religious practices, Polish migrants and the Catholic Church in Ireland. The project was supervised by Dr. Brian Conway.
We also saw some familiar faces graduate with their MAs. Below we have Shay L'Estrange, Pierce Richardson and Cristin O'Rourke with Dr. Paul Ryan at their MA graduation
