Mary Corcoran was an invited panellist at a post-show discussion of Colin Murphy's play, Guaranteed! at the Civic Theatre in Tallaght on Tuesday, November 26th. The play centres on the night that the government agreed to guarantee the banks in October 2008. Colin Murphy researched his play thoroughly and the narrative is drawn on both actual events and documentation as well as conjecture as to how various playesr- developers, bankers, government ministers and civil servants- acted as the crisis unfolded. The Fishamble play had a successful run in the Summer of 2013 and is currently touring the country.
