We are proud to announce that the Politics & Sociology Careers Fair will be taking place on Tuesday the 18th of April. The event is jointly hosted by the Department of Sociology and MU Politics & Sociology Society
The event will take place in TSI 028 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. It will be a great opportunity to learn about the academic and career options available to you.
Events:
- 3:00pm-3:20pm: A talk on jobs in the Public Service in Ireland & the EU.
- 3:20pm-4:30pm: Our past pupils will be manning the stands from various career paths, and they will be available to chat to you about their jobs and how they got there.
- 4:30pm-5:00pm: A talk on the postgraduate options available to all Politics & Sociology students following their undergraduate degrees, such as the Masters and PhD programmes available in the Sociology Department at Maynooth University.
Free pizza, wine and beer will be provided at the fair.
