On Monday the 11th of April you are invited to attend two events that will showcase ongoing work by PhD students in Social Science in MU and discuss careers for Sociology and Politics students after graduation.
5.30 – 6pm- Doctorate Research Poster Presentation
Come and View the doctoral projects of ten research students from the Faculty of Social Science on a range of topical topics from different disciplinary perspectives. Research Posters are on display throughout the evening.
Doctoral Researchers will be in attendance beside their posters so feel free to chat with them about the trials, tribulations and thrills of working on their doctorates
6pm - Sociology and Politics Futures
What happens after graduation? Come and Hear some of our former MA and PhD students discuss how they negotiated the academic and non-academic job markets successfully after graduation.
