International Child Abduction: too much national law, not enough international justice?

Maynooth University Department of Law was thrilled to welcome Mr Justice John MacMenamin, Justice of the Supreme Court and Honorary Adjunct Professor of Law at Maynooth University, on campus last night to deliver an engaging and frank lecture on the intricacies and complexities of the law governing international child abduction.

Among attendees at the event were Mr Justice Paul Carney, Justice of the High Court and Honorary Adjunct Professor of Law at Maynooth University; Judge Rosmary Horgan, President of the District Court and Honorary Adjunct Professor of Law at Maynooth University; Professor Philip Nolan, President of Maynooth University; Liam Herrick, Advisor to President Michael D Higgins and Honorary Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Law at Maynooth University; and Esther Lynch, Head of Legal and Social Affairs at the ICTU and Honorary Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Law at Maynooth University.
