Published by the Sweden based Life and Peace Institute's Horn of Africa Bulletin, the article discusses the emerging ICT4Peace field of research and practice. Using the Horn of Africa region as a case, the piece argues that except Kenya most of the countries in the region have not yet started applying Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) or the tools for peacebuilding activities. The article also outlines the possible scenarios of ICT development in the region in general and ICTs in peace.
