The MEND Cluster (made up of four higher education institutions - Athlone Institute of Technology, Dundalk Institute of Technology, Dublin City University and Maynooth University) have been successful in gaining funding from the HEA under their PATH 2 and 3 schemes.

The MEND Cluster’s 1916 Bursaries Programme (PATH 2) aims to enhance educational aspirations and opportunities for the most under-represented groups in the region who typically would not consider pursuing higher education due to the perceived and actual costs involved.

College Connect (PATH 3) aims to enhance educational aspirations for acutely under-represented groups in the MEND region through a participative and sustainable suite of activities and resources to illuminate pathways and provide opportunities into, through and beyond higher education.

Congratulations to ALL Members Rose Ryan and Simon Ahern for this truly collaborative innovative partnership proposal.;
