Your brain contains billions of nerve cells that work coordinated to help you think, behave, move and feel. In this presentation we will talk in an easy way about some brain facts, how the brain works and looks like, what happens when the brain does not work well, how you can make the brain work better (by means of exercise and diet, but also some other ways...). Finally, we will talk about what you studied so far that was useful for studying the brain, and what you can study in the future to become an expert in how the brain works and why we behave in the way we do when our brain suffers malfunction. We will talk about the Science of the brain and how we need a joint work with neurologists, neuropsychologists, statisticians (Spoiler alert; science and maths are important!!) and more to uncover all the mysteries associated to how the brain works.
