Biography

I joined Maynooth University's Department of Media Studies as an Assistant Lecturer in September 2022. I teach across the BA in Media Studies and the MA in Critical and Creative Media on subjects such as media and cultural theory, media and gender, and media publics. I am also first year coordinotor in the Department.

My research focuses on platformed cultural production and creator cultures in Ireland and Turkey. I explore how creative digital labour practices of social media content creators are localised depending on geographic specificities of media production.
