Professor Michael Doherty appeared on the RTÉ Radio 1 Drivetime programme on Monday, 19 October to discuss the impending industrial action at Irish Rail.
Professor Doherty lectures and researches on all aspects of collective employment law, and has written and commented extensively on collective action rights in Ireland and Europe, including his piece ‘Back to the Future of EU Labour Law’ which was published in the Kings Law Journal in 2014

Professor Doherty is Head of Maynooth University Department of Law where he lectures in modules on Employment Law and in Work and Employment in Europe on the LLB programme.
