Department of Law to host three Summer Programme for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) internships
Applications are now open for SPUR 2-018. This programme offers undergraduate students the opportunity to work closely with faculty mentors on active six week research projects, affording an insight into postgraduate studies and a future career in research.

Justice Shireen Avis Fisher of the Residual Special Court of Sierra Leone visited the MU Law Department. Judge Fisher spoke to Dr. Noelle Higgin’s International Criminal Law class and others about the prosecution of atrocity crimes under International Law.

Prof Doherty was one of the invited speakers at the inaugural Workplace Relations Commission seminar: The World of Work: A Shifting Landscape.
The seminar, held in Dublin Castle, and covered widely in national media, focused on a number of topics including- are temporary work contracts more and more a feature of working life? What are the implications of an aging workforce on employment relations and what broader policy questions need to be considered?
