Dr. Delia Ferri invited to speak on the rights of persons with disabilities, in Conference held in Italian Senate

Dr. Delia Ferri was invited to speak at the conference "Le nuove frontiere della diversità", which was held in the prestigious Sala Zuccari of Palace Giustiniani, in the Senate of the Italian Republic, on 23 January 2018.  She delivered a paper on the rights of persons with disabilities and reasonable accommodation titled “I diritti delle persone con disabilità tra rispetto della diversità e inclusione”.

The conference was convened by Prof. Francesco Palermo, Senator of the Italian Republic, Professor of Comparative Constitutional Law at the University of Verona and Director of the Institute of Federalism and Regionalism of EURAC Research (Bolzano/Bozen). Other speakers included: Prof. Andrea Lollini (University of Bologna and UC Hastings College of Law of San Francisco), Prof. Maria Luisa Gorno Tempini (UCSF Professor of Neurology and Lead Researcher of the UCSF Dyslexia Center, Memory and Aging Center, Sandler Neurosciences Center of San Francisco), Dr. Roberta Medda-Windischer (Senior researcher of EURAC Research)  and Dr. Piero Colla (Sociologist of Education at the Centre Maurice Halbwachs- CNRS of Paris).
 
Dr Delia Ferri ​is a lecturer at the Department of Law of Maynooth University and her current research focuses on international, European and comparative disability law.
