ERC Project DANCING: Supporting the MU Social Justice Week and Celebrating Our First 18 Months

Recording available for joint online conference on the United Nations War Crimes Commission
Last year, Maynooth University’s School of Law and Criminology and the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy in SOAS held a joint online joint conference on the United Nations War Crimes Commission (UNWCC). The conference included presentations from scholars in a range of disciplines, including law, history, international relations and political science.

Third Year LLB Student, Hira Khan recently took part in the Justice Week 2022 Intervarsity Debate organised by the Bar of Ireland.
The motion for the debate provided that “This House believes that international human rights law and international humanitarian law provide adequate protections in respect of the use of autonomous weapons and systems in warfare.”
