Professor Doherty Discusses Lansdowne Road Agreement on Morning Ireland

Professor Michael Doherty appeared on RTÉ Radio 1’s Morning Ireland show on 11 August 2015 to discuss the prospects for the Lansdowne Road Agreement on public service pay.

 Professor Doherty has a long-standing interest in national socio-economic dialogue processes and procedures and has written and commented extensively on national pacts in Ireland, including his piece ‘Can the Patient Survive the Cure? Irish Labour Law in the Austerity Era’ which was published in the European Labour Law Journal.

Professor Doherty is Head of Maynooth University Department of Law where he lectures in modules on Employment Law and in Work and Employment in Europe on the LLB programme.
