    Dr Jamie Saris participates in discussion on Technology & Intimacy

    How do we find intimacy in the 21st century? Can technology help us to fundamentally fulfil our desire for connection, or are we ultimately re-programming ourselves for future loneliness? Cyberpsychology Researcher at the University of Wolverhampton and Lecturer at IADT, Nicola Fox Hamilton, Dr Jamie Saris, Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at Maynooth University, and Dr. Kris Gowen, sexuality educator and Director of Community Engaged Evaluation at Oregon Health and Science University debate if technology really is the future of human connection or if we should disconnect to get close.

    Maynooth academic honoured by International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences

    Maynooth University anthropologist, Dr Chandana Mathur, was presented with a Distinguished Service Award at the18th World Congress of the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences.
