Additional Information
The NUI Diploma in Training and Development for Socially Inclusive Workplaces is aimed at adult educators and trainers who work to promote social inclusion in the workplace. The emphasis is on best practice in inclusive education and training. The Diploma course builds on two required NUI Maynooth Certificates – Equality Studies in Training and Development and either Adult and Community Education or Training and Continuing Education (2 years in total). Students are also required to hold a third certificate from the following options: Adult Guidance Theory and Practice, Addiction Studies, Community Development and Leadership, Disability Studies, Integrating Literacy or Counselling Skills. Students who hold the three named certificates are eligible to apply to attain the NUI Diploma in Arts Training and Continuing Education (for Socially Inclusive Workplaces).
