    Maynooth University Entrepreneurship Student scoops runner-up spot in Alltech competition!

    Gavyn Pedley, already a serial entrepreneur while still a Maynooth University student, pitched a mouth-watering vegetarian version of a bacon sandwich to the judges of the Alltech University Student Enterprise Award.

    Maynooth University and Kimmage Development Studies Centre have signed a statement of intent that extends their partnership to include additional undergraduate programmes and new postgraduate programmes.

    Funded PhD in ICARUS

    PhD studentship: Investigating the use of 20th Century reanalyses products to homogenize global land surface air temperature records The Department of Geography is offering a three-year funded PhD studentship to work with Professor Peter Thorne on the project below. This will start in September 2015, and the successful applicant will be based in the Department's high profile Irish Climate Analysis and Research UnitS (ICARUS please see icarus.nuim.ie).

    On March 4th, 2015 the Department of Chemistry hosted the annual Pharmaceutical Biomedical Chemistry (PBC) 1st year Students Poster Day. During the poster session the students, organized in working groups, presented and discussed their work in front of a broad audience, made up of both, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and of academic staff.
