Thinking of doing an MA?

The Sociology Department have four different taught MA progammes on offer in 2016/17. If you are interested in pursuing your interests in Sociology perhaps look at the MA in Sociology: Societies in Transition, or consider one of our more specialised MAs including an MA in Internet and Society, an MA in Work, Labour Markets and Employment or an MA in Community Education, Equality and Social Activism.

MAs are of one year duration and include a research thesis which is submitted during the summer. Classes are small and more discussion based like seminars.

For informal inquiries please contact the MA co-ordinator Prof. Honor Fagan. For information on specific MAs please contact the named contact person.
