Joan Burton, Tanaiste and Minister for Social Protection recently launched a new Taught M.A. on Work, Labour Markets and Employment in the Department of Sociology.
The new MA will commence in September 2014 and applications are being accepted throughout the Summer.
This unique programme is designed to provide graduates with the critical and analytical skills necessary to engage with the changing world of work, to help forecast future socio-economic scenarios and to develop expertise in the fields of labour market activation and unemployment alleviation.
