MU research highlights barriers facing Traveller and Roma students
Traveller and Roma students continue to face persistent and systemic barriers in higher education, according to a new report launched today by Marian Harkin, Minister of State for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science.

College Connect presentation at QQI Access, Transfer and Progression Workshop

Watermarks Under the Skin - Social Justice Week 2024
Social Justice Week launched this morning at 11.00am by Dr. Ciara Bradley, Associate Professor Department of Applied Social Studies and Sam Blankensee, MU Equality Officer. This was followed by an introduction to the work of the Mountjoy Prison, Maynooth University Partnership and the Mountjoy Prison Watermarks Under the Skin Exhibition which will come to Maynooth University later this semester.

Refugees and asylum seekers complete Changemakers course in MU
27 students from 10 International Protection Accommodation Services centres across the Midlands, East and North Dublin have completed the Changemakers Mentoring Programme in Maynooth University. The Changemakers empowers students to reach for higher education goals and reinforces Maynooth University’s commitment to the University of Sanctuary and widening participation.
