In January 2018, Department of Law students delivered research factsheets on various aspects of migration law and policy to the Immigrant Council of Ireland. This was a community-based learning project undertaken by the students, whereby they completed topical research in groups. Topics covered included hate crime legislation; recent case-law of the European Court of Human Rights; and Ireland’s role in progressing the Global Compact for Migration.

This formed part of the module ‘Migration and Human Rights’, taught by Dr Clíodhna Murphy and available as part of the LLB programme at Maynooth University Department of Law.
