Last month, over 80 secondary school students participated in a week-long Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Design Summer Camp at Maynooth University.
The Summer Campus was a joint project between the Department of Design Innovation (lead department), the School of Business, and the Department of Electronic Engineering.
Lecturer in the School of Business, Dr Bastian Rake, a led one of the days of the Summer Camp, which focussed on Innovation. With assistance from Dr Christian Martin, Bastian worked with students on the development of a food business innovation.
The School wishes to thank Peter Robbins, Head of the Department of Design Innovation, for leading the summer camp initiative and ensuring all ran smoothly throughout the week.
