Dr Fergus Ryan assesses the Irish Constitution at 80

RTÉ’s Brainstorm website this month features an article by Dr Fergus Ryan of the Department of Law on the topic of the Irish Constitution.

80 years old this year, the Irish Constitution is the subject of a series of proposals for reform, which Fergus discusses in his article: Fergus also recently addressed the MU Feminist Society on the topic of the 8th Amendment to the Constitution, and proposals for reform of the law on abortion.”

Dr Fergus Ryan teaches Contract, Family Law and Gender & Sexuality Law on the LLB, BCL and graduate courses at Maynooth University Department of Law.
